The short version
There are no accounts, no tracking cookies and no analytics on this site. The figures you type into a calculator are worked out in your own browser and are not sent to us.
Calculator figures
Calculations run on your device. To let you share a result, the figures you changed are written into the page address, for example ?p=31000. They only reach our web server if you reload or open an address that contains them, in which case the address is recorded in the server log like any other page request.
Server logs
Like almost every website, the server that hosts this one keeps a log of requests: the address requested, the time, your IP address and your browser type. The site is hosted with Namecheap. These logs are used to keep the site running and to spot abuse, and are not used to identify or profile visitors.
The contact form
If you send a message, your name, email address and message are emailed to us so we can reply. Your IP address is used to limit how many messages one connection can send. The form uses an automated check to block spam; its code is loaded from the jsDelivr content network, so your browser makes a request to jsDelivr when you open the contact page.
Advertising
There is no advertising on the site at the moment. If advertising is added, this page will be updated first to say who provides it and what cookies or similar technology it uses.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or share personal information.
- We do not build profiles of visitors.
- We do not send marketing email.
